The Saqr Port Authority is ideally siuted closed to the major shipping lines and the strait of Hurmuz. Saqr Port was built by order of his Highness Sheikh Saqr Bin Mohammed Alqassimi, Supreme council member and ruler of Ras Al Khaimah. Open in 1977. It maintain the Emirates historical maritime connections.
